Museums, galleries and architectural monuments found under the common name of „The 12 TOP places of historic centre“ are definitely worth a visit. Sacral monuments tours over three religious communities are equally interesting. Each of them is something special which you will see after listening to audio guides available on this website. Other tourist attractions are located on the outskirts of the town. In the north, it is the cultural and natural recreation zone Forest park Háj-Nicovô with a great view of the foothills of nearby mountains, with natural trails, running routes of Mikuláš´s Olympic winners, and military history. On the southern edge it is the Ondrej Cibák Water Slalom complex, where even non-professional athletes can sail the same courses as Olympic medallists in canoeing, and in the west you can visit the well-known aquapark Tatralandia with a ZOOKONTAKT and an only Slovak wind tunnel Hurricane Factory.
